Just wondering if anyone has installed and/or used the NAVIGATION add-on for HARMON KARDON ADVANCED AUDIO SYSTEM ???
Is it as good or better than say......Garmen, Quest, etc..... I think it would be nice to have the add-on so it would not attract the common theif and you would not have to remove it from your bars everytime you went inside somewhere. I would like to your opinion please

I have it and used it exclusively on my 9927 mile road trip--Personally I think it's great--It leads you by the hand to your destination--It will find you all the Harley dealers, fuel stops and places to eat along your route too. You don't have to look at the screen--the lovely lady talks to you and tells you when and where to turn--I haven't cracked a road map since it was installed either. Best of all I had so many customer reward points at my dealer that it only cost me $150.00 out of pocket for a $1000+ price tag.

For that price, I wouldn't be able to pass it up...but for the rest of us, a grand is a bit steep for a GPS...you could easily do a high end, waterproof external 3rd party GPS with a RAM mount and use the audio in plug for on the stereo and achieve the same thing...except that you can use it in the car too...

If I could get it for 150.00 cllams I wouldn't be asking questions, Iwould own it. Thanks for the input. I think I'll be looking for a cheaper route. [sm=boosign.gif]..........no pun intended
