Had my bike reserved for Daytona 2011, was picking up my bike in Miami. I get a phone call today from "HOG", we're ending the Fly & Ride program 12/31/10, we'll be sending your money back and now you have to go thru the dealership rental program. Told me to call the dealership, they have a bike for me but not sure what model(I reserved a Road Glide). No answer at the dealer so won't know what happens till tomorrow. HOG did say they would pay the difference for the cost of the rental since they already knew it would be higher. I've always had good luck with Fly & Ride, hate to see it end.

 

Anything attached to the MOCO has been cut or reduced. I guess"Bus and Ride" was out of the question...

 

Sorry to see it end. Used fly n ride to do the PCH in Sep. It was a great program.

 

Tried to use it a couple of times but my locations were always "sold out". Sign of the times.

 

Benefits of HOG are going down

 

So for $40 a year, I get four magazines? Already have better towing thru AAA.

Same thing happened to me .. I tried to get a Fly and Ride with 8 months notice out in AZ .. None Available, had to go through the Dealer to do a rental .. Needless to say won't be renewing HOG when expires ..

 

Interesting, so HOG is cutting benefits to members, yet I see in the latest HOG magazine they are spending all kinds of dollars on sponsoring racers. Well guess what? HOG has seen the last of my money.

 

Is it national or just the local Miami? Some dealers aren't big fans of it.

Hog still advertises it on their website.

Every time I tried to use it they were booked out to almost a year.
