What gear do you wear and how?

Most always jeans, helmet, gloves and boots with a doorag or hat - sometimes tennis shoes in the summer. Then its t-shirts in summer. Henleys when its cool. Add a leather jacket when cold, sometimes with under armour. I don't bother riding once the temp gets in the 30's, but here I can still ride at least once a month through the winter. Uh... underware is optional.

;-) Yeah, I actually can move. The thing is, here in Florida it might be 40 degrees at 6 in the morning when I'm leaving for work, but by the time I ride home at 6 PM or so, it's 70! By layering up like that I can strip down/layer up and I'm pretty comfortable. It's really not that much bulk. the key thing here is to stop the damp wind getting through to you. Once you get chilled in this damp air you can't get warm until you go inside somewhere and warm up for awhile. Even with the Ultra Classics lowers, fairing and windshield my hands, the tops of my thighs, and feet get so cold i can hardly ride if the temp is near 40. My hats off to you guys that ride all winter long. It's just plain miserable to me. I much rather ride when it's 90 down here than 50. Heat I can take, cold I hate.

Generally jeans, boots, leather jacket and full face helmet. If it's cold (which is probably down in the 40s) I'll add long johns and gloves. If it's below 40 I'll add a balaclava to keep the neck warm too.
