Default ††††††My L'il Joe's vest...††††††

There has been an influx of questions regarding the L'il Joe's product line recently so I thought I would post some pics and explain my experience with mine as I have had it for several years now.

I have the Black Magin vest which is denim as opposed to the leather. I prefer the denim vest obviously. I had my wife sew a zipper in the vest for easy closure.

The vest is nice and heavy duty, and has the red lining. I bought this long before I was working with Dr. V-Twin. I ordered 1 size larger than I wear as it states to do on their website. I normally wear an XL T shirt so I got a 2XL. It fits me great and will also fit over my leather jacket....I could not imagine riding without my vest now.

I have not had any issues with this vest at all and I wear it nearly every day. I can get all L'il Joe's products at a discount for forum members. Let me know if you need pricing as they are not on our website.

See all the different vests they offer here.

The quality is great! All I can say Is make absolutely certain that you are ordering the right size! I found that out the hard way.

Question

I could see if you're in a club and want your colors showing, but if not why wear the vest over the jacket?
I got mine to wear under the jacket, so when I take my jacket off I'm not having to take the vest off also. If it's warm enough, the vest will come off also.

I really don't care how someone wears their vest but gotta say that I wear my leather one under my jacket and it seems to work better that way at keeping me warm in the cold. I don't wear it all in the warm weather unless I just need some extra pockets.

I leave it on the jacket when I take the jacket off. It will enver get cold enough ehre for it to matter to me regardless. With a t shirt and a jacket and a vest I am good. I'll be sweating ***** before rolling out.

Amen, it seems it might be uncomfortable underneath too, but I have never tied it that way. If i wanted extra warmth without the vest I would wear a thermal. But...Iron is the man and he does it this way so it must work well.

This is a serious question.

Is that a dig? Do I come off like some kind of a fricking know it all??

If so please let me know so I can reevaluate myself and adjust my attitude.

Thanks.

Not all all. I greatly respect you and followed your Hoka Hey ride thread. I just never thought of wearing the vest on the inside. I have better things to do than start internet arguments...really.
