Default Welp, I bought a Scoot

2011 SG Denim Black . I already had plans on how i wanted to customize it , Blacking out this and that . Then " Sam " throws me a curveball. He said its the chrome that makes the denim " POP " .

So my question is this ....... What yall think ? Black it out or go with chrome additions?

I love the contrast of black and chrome personally.

I've blacked out a few things on my bike, others I've chromed. Not a fan of totally blacked out bikes...

No offense to the blackouts out there but, it's getting to be old news already. Chrome never dies.

Absolutely make it what you want. That's the whole point of a Harley. It is to be what you want it to be and no matter what anyone else likes. Personally, I like chrome on Black or any dark color, but make it what you like. You are the one riding it and paying for it, make it what you are proud to ride and sit back and look at when you are parked.

Congrats on the bike. Start out by doing a little at a time and see how you like it. Live with it for awhile and you'll come up with what works for you. I've gone back and forth between black and chrome stuff on mine. You can always switch things around and sell what you don't like.
Don't forget- we need pics!

Congrats! I would tend to agree. I think a little chrome in the right places really makes the rest of the bike look better. Just my opinion.

Do what you like but PLEASE post pics of the progress!

I think it would be better if you asked those with pics of what you are thinking about, to post them. That may help you make up your mind.

CONGRATULATIONS THOUGH!
