That sucks man! I have AAA for the cars, but I have progressive insurance for the bike, I wonder if they have a road service....hey Flo! can you help me out here?

On the tool kit subject, a roll of "Rescue tape" is a good ideer too.

+1 on the Widzone kit. I got mine off of ebay for about $50. Not the best quality tools but I garauntee you can't buy Craftsmen and make your own for less. Also has tape, zip-ties, tubing, some other stuff and a nice roll-up pouch that fits in my fork bag. They have a couple of different sets, get the one that works best for you. Cruz Tools has nice sets too.

This is the one I have. The items that were mentioned above are included in this kit: 10mm wrench, tape, fuel hose, etc.

Cool

I keep an multi tip screwdriver w torx/allen phillips.leathermans multi tool,
small set of wrenches,12" zip ties, rag.Took these to a leather guy and they made me a tool pouch roll with pockets for each tool .About $30 for the roll .Also have several canvas zipper pouches from Academy Sports with various items from 1st aid to headlight lamps depending on the length of the ride I am going on.
There is a website called Sound Rider.they have created a check list of items some might find interesting for the long haul.

Cell phone and a cold beer or two. Maybe some jack Daniels instead.

Guys, thanks for all the input. The EK-1HD tool kit looks like the best option. Going to get two from Amazon- $57 each. Getting one for wifeys sportster also. AAA seems too high, probably be better if I had a RV or other toys that would be covered. Going to check with the Insurance man tonight to see how much a road service policy would be. Can't wait til the weather breaks to enjoy a ride or two!
