Default Bike tools

Hey guys, I have a 98 Heritage Classic. I want to keep a tool bag in my saddlebags for road trips. What tools and sizes are best? Also, does anyone know if AAA will tow the bike if it should breakdown?
Thanks

To get you started check out the tools and sizes included in Windzone or Cruztools sets. You can buy the tools elsewhere and create your own set a little cheaper.

If I remember correctly AAA towing varies from state to state, I'd recommend contacting AAA. Towing is usually available as part of your insurance coverage but in many areas of the country you could be waiting hours for them to show up.

Get a tool roll bag to keep them in. Like another poster said, look at other biker tool sites to see what you need and carry them. One thing to be sure to have is a small 10mm wrench, for your battery posts.

Google Harley-Davidson tool kits and check them out. You can zoom in on most of them by using Ctrl+ Zoom out with Ctrl-
Once you get a good idea of what comes with each kit...go and buy them from whomever you want to shop from.

Your tool kit must have a roll of duct tape and bailing wire!

Forgot to mention. When your working on your bike make sure the tools in your kit would work. Most kits don't include a hose. I carry a hose the same size as the fuel line but at least 4ft long. I have used it to siphon gas more than once when I came across someone stranded on the side of the road.

+1 for CruzTools. You can set up a bag a little cheaper, but the roll-up carrier is nice.

AAA does have a policy that will include towing for your bike. It's covered under their RV policy. About $130 a year.

Windzone has different tools depending on what you ride, very reasonably priced, and ditto on AAA, bikes are covered under RV and some states actually have a seperate motorcycle coverage, here in FL they just recently started it.

Yep, I've got AAA as well. You've got to get the expensive RV coverage if you want bike towing.
