My bikes about as far from a couch as it get's and from the point of trip miles I suspect my seat has seen more than your whole riding career .

Screw how it looks it's about butt comfort on the long miles , only thing anybody has ever said mine is where can I get one . Some of those were riding hardtails .....

 

grow some thick skin there buddy been riding 45 yrs, and i think they make any bike look like a couch and if you don`t care good for you maybe you should buy a tourer

 

I got my wife a wool car washing mitt, she likes it.

I have the Alaskan Leather sheep skin cover. I added that to my bike and took another suggestion from the forum, wearing under armour boxer briefs under my blue jeans. Left London Ontario, through Buffalo NY, Chicago and Madison WI, ending in St. Paul. Was able to do that ride straight through.

 

Damn, there is always something I need that I didn't know I needed.
