Does anyone have any recommendations where I could find custom made chaps for a good price?

 

This will be a bit out of your way but I got a pair made at a place in Warba Minnesota called Caspers Leather. It's just a small place but the chaps that I had made are fantastic. I took all of my own measurements and gave them to them over the phone and they sent me out a great pair of chaps made with quality heavy leather. I used to be too big to find off the rack leathers. They treated me real good. I don't remember what I paid I just know that was happy with it.

Lake Champlain Leather in Burlington Vermont made mine. Great fit. I rode over there one day, and they measured me. Two weeks later, my perfect, very comfortable, affordable, tailor made chaps arrived on the UPS truck. Could be a really nice ride from Pa.

 

I would suggest that you locate a saddle maker,or Amish/Mennonite community that works with leather,and pay them a visit..Since you live in PA. that should not be a problem.I deal with the Amish/Mennonite people all the time,and the going rate for custom chaps around here is about $125.00
