i lived in n.y.c. and parked my car on side street,, during the day, city made it into a bus stop!!!!! and those of us who were parked there got ticketed...try to dispute that in a n.y.c. traffic court...it stinks...big time..my condolences to this guy/girl

 

Downtown san Diego and there was a group of telling the parking cop that there were no signs and that was bull. He said if the company says tow and signs it off he has to call it in. I think with all the state budget cuts they crammed this job that was for later in the year for now. They were supposed to give my building a notice and we never got that.

 

Also he got a parking ticket.

 

Maybe the city needs the revenue and they have these portable no parking signs they move around to the favored bike parking places. sux

 

This sounds like something San Francisco would do.

 

Seems like there is a better way to tow a bike. The only way it could be worse is if they just slapped a noose around the handle bars and drag the bike away.

 

I'd help him fight it. If you saw them putting the signs out, I'd go to court with him and get it dismissed. That's bullsh!t...

 

who cares, what has this got to do with a riding forum? most posts on here are about the poor working class being taken advantage of. you card caring liberals need to get over it. the elected officials have decided to make this a no parking zone...go vote if you are unhappy. this has nothing to do aout harley davidsons!! or riding!! or motorcycles!! they would have towed cars just as easily!!
