Anybody get them?

You know, on wet steel gradings or bridges with metal work

Yeah, try the Macinac bridge from Michigans lower to upper penninsula (?) I took it in 1994 while there was some maintenance going on and the only lane open to traffic was the grated section. Sure does keep your attention.

Can't say I've ever heard that expression before.

The first time I was more nervouse before I got to it than when actually riding across a grated bridge.
Now I know what to expect, it doesn't bother me much. I don't know about miles of it though like the Mac bridge.

I was very nervous about responding until I knew what you were talking about. I suppose I'd prefer to say I get the heeby-jeebys crossing a bridge like that.

Was on the Mac bridge this summer , same deal , rode the grate the whole distance . Glad it wasn't windy or wet out .

Short season for maintenance up there , so not surprised by it .

Expansion joints train tracks bridge grates all get my full attension .

Douche Chills? Man I wouldnt use that expression in a Biker bar, you might get some funny looks at best. We used to call it "riding on marbles"......................BG

Man, you're not supposed to put them in the freezer prior to use....room temperature will suffice
