Default Craigslist Scam?????

I have some Harley wheels for sale on Craigslist. I am aware of most of the scams on there, but not sure about this one. A lot of people seem to be phishing for your email address...but this guy seems to be phishing for my home address. Here is the entire email he sent...obvious English is his second language, but not broken as most, let me know what you think.

Thanks for your reply and I have also gone back to your ads on craigslist and am quite comfortable with the condition of the item since i won't be making any repairs on it. I'm making an offer of $500 and I will add $50 to it for keeping it for me, Please provide your full Name, Address your Phone number for payment. I am paying by Check. It will take few days for payment to get to you. As per pick-up, I will make arrange for the pick-up after payment has been received by you.I hope it is in good condition, kindly get back to me with your name, phone # and mailing address where payment will be sent. I will let you know how i intend to pick it up.I would have loved to come check it out but i am presently away on a business trip,so you can send me pics of the item so that i can know it is in good condition. I would appreciate it if you take the posting off CRAIGSLIST today and consider it sold to me.As for the pick-up,it would be handled after you receive your payment. Thanks. God Bless You.

I put 3 items on CL two Fridays ago, aquarium, truck cover and a old lawn mower. In the first 3 days I got no less than 50 spam emails. Finally sold the aquarium, other stuff people wanted me to give it to them, and DELIVER IT!

Last couple of times I have used CL this has been typical so I think I'm done with it. Not trustworthy anymore in my opinion.

Yup a scam for sure. As soon as you see red flags like asking for your name, number and address, the word "check" and asking you to take the listing down its a dead give away your being phished for personal information.

A good rule of thumb for craiglist, ebay, etc. is that if you think to yourself "could this be a scam?".... you should immediately run away from it, because it most likely is.
These scumbags are constantly thinking up new tricks to screw honest, hard working people over.
