You can't compare seatbelts, helmet AND texting the first two only have a direct impact on the individual, whereas texting has a direct impact on anyone on the road.

It makes a lot of sense to increase rates for non helmet wears. They are more at risk when they get into an accident. If you dont like to wear your helmet because it's inconvenient that' fine. Maybe you havent seen enough pictures of peoples skulls smashed in and brain matter splattered or beheadings, or any type of gore and for those people that do get into motorcycle accidents.

Just like a seat belt you get use to it after awhile. It's like muscle memory for me everytime I get in.
