Ok so instead of watching the Eagles loose yet another game I decided to use the “Hey hon. need to go to the hardware store be right back" excuse to get out on the bike today. Man was it windy those 30 + gust blew me all over the place! In fact I made sure I stayed in the middle of the lane so I would not be blown into on coming traffic. Needless to say it was worth it!

im in philly and was at a soccer game from 12-1pm... i thought about riding afterwards but that wind was STRONG!

 

I'll bet it was nice to ride the scoot, regardless of the conditions.

 

Real windy here in Syracuse today. Stuff blowing all over the place. Too cold to go out anyways.

Was 50'ish here today ... breezy but sunny. Felt good to get out on the bike. 70'ish tomorrow.

 

Going to ride to work tomorrow morning at least the wind will be calm!

Great riding in the Phoenix area today.

 

Southern California has wind in the fall called Santana Winds. I rode back from San Diego along I-15 last Thursday and Friday. Gusts were up to 50mph in Cajon Pass. The Ultra calmy negotiated all the crosswinds, gusts, and squirrely stuff just fine. Temps were about 70. Once in the desert, winds dropped to 10-15 out of the northeast so again, pleasant ride back to Utah.[8D]

 

You're killing me. I've been riding my FXDL in some pretty stiff breezes the past couple of days and the lack of wind protection - coupled with the buffeting off the windshield has me longing for my '06 R'Glide. Best handling, most comfortable (for the rider) bagger the MoCo makes (in my opinion).
