Default Oil Cooler / Parade Fan / Engine Cooling Fan

Is any of this stuff worth doing? How much does the Oil Cooler help? Are the fans only for when you are stopped in traffic or do they help when underway?

oil coolers absolutely....as for the "parade" fan that sets up where the horn is now located, I have no idea...I've heard some people love them....but where does all the hot air go except onto your right leg?

Why HD dont put oil coolers on all of their "air cooled" bikes is beyond me.

It's all about $$$$$, and being able to make you part with your $$$, of course.

I have done everything to my 09 Ultra that I can think of for cooling it down. Agree about the oil cooler but personally did not feel any difference though. Would I buy another oil cooler? If I had the money yes because I do believe it has to help. The fan was my best option. It definetly made a difference. It will blow warm air on the right leg but I do not feel it as much moving. If you use the football cover on the air filter it changes the air flow so it hits my ankle and upper thigh. I just change the position of the leg. Without the football cover it hits the middle part of the leg.

Personally, the only reason I would get an oil cooler is if I did a lot of riding in triple digit heat and I would only get a parade fan if I spent a lot of time stuck in traffic but I don't so I just use a good synthetic oil and don't worry about it. JMO
