Thumbs up New Helmet!

Finally broke down & got the wife & myself helmets. Check this Bad Larry out:

My wife & I were on a ride one day & rode by rode by a bike accident we must've missed by mere seconds. By the time we got past it, there was an Ultra Classic wedged under a guardrail & 2 guys with a home made stretcher were tending to the rider. He didn't look good @ all & blood spattered everywhere. Aside of all the rubber neckers standing around the wreck, the rider's 2 buddies were looking over him near their UCs. No helmets on all 3 of them.

I found out a couple of days later, the dude ended up dying. Found out all 3 of those guys were screwing around & the guy that died tried cutting off a car, dumped the bike with him still on it, & wedged him & the sled under the guardrail @ about 60mph. Out of my few years of riding a motorcycle, this is the accident that spooked me.

So we went out & I found "THE" helmet for me. My wife's from southern IL & absolutely hates the fact I want her to wear one, but I don't care. If she falls, there's less of a chance of losing her for life.

That is an AWESOME helmet. Who's it made by? I can't really tell.

Sorry to hear about the accident. I hate hearing stuff like that. Really freaks me out.

Thanks, man! I'll have to get back to you on the name brand. I've got the box it came in @ my shop & the helmet doesn't have any tags or decals on it that say the name.

I hate hearing stuff like that too, but it's really something when you see the accident. I can't believe how freaked I got. Just goes to show you; you never know when you'll have a life altering experience. Ride safe, brother.

It's a Hot Leathers brand so probably made overseas ... around $65.00 to $80.00 bucks.

I would never wish anyone any harm but

would give me a little piece of mind in my safety, knowing I'm not that stupid to act like this.
