I read that on here a few months ago, and have tried it, but I don't think people get it here in WI. I'm going back to flashing my lights as a LEO ahead signal.

At least I'll know what it means if someone gives me the head pat. I was going to make this comment on that other thread, but people were being too cutesy, withholding info. Thanks for giving a straight answer, and not playing games.

Yep!, me too.....I feel like such a spring .
As for as the other thread with holding, I thought that too,.. although I'm new to the biker community and dont have a lot to offer, the way I see it is if we dont want to let the stuff be forgotton and never used we gotta share the good ol days and keep them alive.

 

I thought it meant "I just got head".

 

When I tap I find that about 1/3 of the respondents flash back or give a thumbs up, the other 2/3 just ride by.

 

Actually it means "HEADS UP". Could be LEO (Law Enforcement Officer), something in the road etc.
The OP and a few others were trying to play secret handshake in one of the other threads but several people gave it away or gave some less than subtle hints.
