Default Paramount HD in Framingham MA just closed as well...

Great dealership, very customer driven, honest Sales Department and a very responsible Service Dep't as well. They had a ten year history in a great facility, but it was too large to support the cash flow. They were looking to move to another smaller facility with less overhead, but the MOCO's demands for the buildout were just too much.

The MOCO would rather let a first class dealership go under vs facilitating the means to keep a quality dealership (Parmount's Service Dep't had one of the best records for customer satisfaction in the region and I believe they were in the top 40 nationally as well).

A great loss for Metro West Boston. They will be missed.

the factory is going to have to relinquish these ideas of large fancy dealerships as long as the economy stays in the dump, or else they're going to loose all the good small family owned stores, and a lot of customer base as well. car dealerships are going that way, and are winding up being corporate owned and highly impersonal and hated by most car owners.

It means he's prejudiced. Detroit HD is actually in Center Line, MI, a suburb north of Detroit. I've never been there. I usually deal with Motor City HD.

Watch out for the Seacoast people to grab it if it's worth anything.

I thought he meant that Detroit has had it worse than the rest of the nation so a lot of people are unemployed now. That's just from the news we hear on TV.

Reggie Pink (former flat track champion in the early years) was one of the first dealers in NYC and Westchester County. They've been around pretty much in the same spot for too many decades to just get up and move to a bigger location. When the MoCo forced them to upsize, they did to a larger facility across the street. That didn't last. A tough economy, terrible operating hours, high prices and rude employees finally brought 'em down from their high perch. Now there's two empty buildings across from each other and the legacy of Reggie Pink will fade in the dust...

No because Motor City is about 4 miles from my house. I did shop around before buying my '08 Heritage and Motor City still gave me the best deal.

Plus one "Motor City HD"....in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

But, still +1
