I just looked at the 72 on an email I just got. The price listed was $10,499 I'm taking is the no frills model. Sportster's don't hold their value THAT well, dime a dozen pretty much everywhere. For a little more you, could have a bigger bike that should have a better resale if you tire of it in two years and want to up grade.,,

Love Sporties, great bikes, by far the funnest Harley to ride. Although I'm not crazy about this style, take away the flashy paint and it just reminds me of an older evo sporty, which IMO weren't much to look at.

I think its gorgeous. The custom paint version is not 10.5 but a whopping 11.2
I really like the thing but they would have to do a lot better on the price before I would ever consider it. Especially for what used Sportsters go for. Sportys haven't progressed like the big twins have. In the past 7 years alone the big bikes have seen 3 different engine's sizes, gone to 6 speed trannys and the touring bikes have seen complete frame re-designs. The Sporty is basically the exact same bike its been since '04 and the engine is even older. Seems all they did was add some flashy paint. For 9 grand.... maybe me and the wife take a trip to the dealer. Not for 11.2

I like the Nightster and the 48, but Harley got it right with the 72.
