any one in the moline, ill, davenport ia region know of a good harley wrench? had my 98 wide glide to the local dealers and was less than happy.

 

Not good when U don't have faith in Ur wrench.

I went to 3 different dealer to finially find the one I really liked, Also we have a super good ole timer Indy thats great on most stuff but doesn't do dyno tuning, No machine.

Advice is to talk to others around town see who they use. Stop off at U local biker bar, start up some conversations.

 

i had a couple local names, but one left the state, and one dissapeared. anyway, riding season is just around the corner, im sure i can scare someone up, thanks!

 

Just curious, what do you need to have done?

 

got a 98 wg with a stage 1 and the old se II muflers, 28k miles. have always had carb troubles, (stock cv) popping thru carb at low speeds and black smoke when i stand on it, a friend of mine monkeyed with the jets, and it is better, but still not right, been to 3 dealers before my buddy worked on it, didnt really do anything, but i found a guy in west davenport, so when things warm up, will give him a try.
