There was similar topic just a few weeks ago;

I had noticed a little vibration up front,, got to looking and my stick-on wheel weights had become un-stuck from the front wheel,(aka: tossed the weights).
It was a timely topic;

My thoughts exactly so with a few Gents shared experience and the Ride-On video's I ordered some RideOn.
Super Easy install, and made a world of difference, even the mirrors stopped vibrating throughout the speed range, I'm totally happy.

Be sure to order enough, at 8oz per jug 2 jugs just covered both tires.(at 6oz front/10oz rear) They recommend adding 25% to be running wheel weight free so I ordered another jug, now I can pull all the weights and clean up the wheels.

I've been using Ride On in my Street Glide tires for about 2 years now and can say i'm very impressed with how smooth it rides. I've used the beads too and they work just as good. I chose the Ride On product for the extra sealant benefit.

I'm using Dyna Beads now, haven't tried the Ride-On. But would probably go that route next time for the extra puncture resistance.

I do my own tires and static balance, I was thinking of going to Dyna beads, especially on momma's CVO Fatb Bob so we don't have ugly weights on her rims. How messy is the ride on stuff if you do your own tires?

My fatboy's 200mm rear wheel (the solid ones) takes loads of weights to balance (presumably because of imperfections in the wheel rather than very very bad tyres, as it's always in almost exactly the same place). I wonder if this should be addressed first before resorting to ride-on or beads, as I hate to think how much I'd need to deal with all that.

Are you sure your shop knows what it's doing? My original tire on the bike when I bought it used 3/4 oz of weight, the tire I put on at 6K miles after a bad puncture used 5/8 oz of weight in almost the same exact place, I had to have a tire replaced at a rally last fall OEM dunlop again, never bothered to look at how much weight was on it till yesterday, I just changed it the other day and I scraped 6.5 oz of weight off my rim, put on an avon this time and it took 3/4oz in almost the exact same place the 2 prior tires had wheel weights, I guarantee to you the idiot at that dealership new ****all about using the wheel balancer.

It's not a dealership, it's a well-regarded indy. They stripped off the stock weights but put back on (what looks like -- I never added it up) a very similar amount of weight in a very similar spot on the rim. It's dog-ugly, and I wonder whether you can balance the rims internally prior to fitting a tyre to bring the balance weights required for the tyre down to a smaller level. In which case, internal weights for the rim, and ride-on or dyna beads for the tyre seems like a good compromise to me.

A non issue. Just follow the directions. They (Ride On) should pay me for how many times I have endorsed their product. Will never replace a tire without adding a bottle.
