Do some looking before you set a price it's spring and everybody has the bike bug , don't under price it unless you need cash now . You can always be talked down but you can't raise it later people get on to that quick .

Nope... 84 first year Evo, 86 FXWG last kicker I believe. Don't give it away too fast. Most banks use NADA for loan values...and believe it or not that bike goes up to 15k on their scale in excellent condition. Now that bike does not meet their criteria for excellent...has to be 100% stock or 100 point restoration...but it would meet the criteria for very good condition..which is still 9k. I like to fell out when I looked it up...they recently got "collector status" on there. ...I look on there all the time because I am in the market for a bike...MUCH newer bikes list for lower on there.(Example I have been looking at early 2000 Ultras, most list for less than 11k) Since someone could go to a bank and get a loan for 9k without much problem...really opens up who you can sell it to.

I would sure put the original rear fender on if you still have it. That would make it much closer to stock, and I think it would sell better. That bobbed rear fender was kind of a trademark of those early Softails.

They cost $8000 brand new back in '85…I know, because I bought one. My first new Harley…sorry guys, I don't know what I was thinking with the living room sofa as a seat. Hey, it was the 80's.
Everything is stock in this pic except the pipes, air cleaner, carb (Screaming Eagle 40mm), and sofa. I thought it was the coolest looking bike ever.

Yes I changed the rear fender to me the heritage fender looks better, the bobed fender made the bike kinda look like a dirt bike with the gap in between the rear wheel.Maybe I was wrong for changeing it and don't have it anymore
