Default Any regrets on your current bike choice?

I currently own my first bike. I always wanted a Heritage Softail Classic so i was super happy to find one in my budget. 2004 FLSTCI

My only regret is that i didn't research first. I would have liked the changes to this bike in 2007 and it wouldn't have been much of a price difference.

so, if you could do anything over with regard to your current bike ... what would it be?

NOT A F***ING THING! This is the first bike I've ever had and I freakin love it. Hell, the only other bike I've been on was an old a$$ Kawasaki 650 when I was 11. Maybe if I ever get on something else I'll see if I've been missing something.

Best bike I ever had was the bike I had at the time that I had it.

1 - I didn't buy a bagger to go with it

2 - This sounds weird but I wish I would've gone older so I could have gotten a carb, looking into a carb conversion now lol.

Yeah sort of just jumped into the sportster as the starter bike. Wish I would have researched it more and just bought a bigger more comfortable bike from the start.

Won't make that mistake again though. Already looking softail or road king for the next bike, and I'm going to make damn sure I ride both before buying.

"so, if you could do anything over with regard to your current bike ... what would it be?" Should of made the trade sooner! I had a '79 Vette for 22 years, rebuilt everything- red with black leather T tops. Put a grand total of 4,000 miles on in all that time. Traded title for title on the Fatboy last August. No regrets for doing so. Love the bike.
