Default Longest continuous ride?

The wife and I (2 up) loaded with a tent, bed rolls, sleeping bags, and four or five metric tons of woman's crap (I don't even know what most of it is) rode about 7700 miles in 10 days... oh ya'... on a Fatboy.

I was wondering what some of you guys have done?

P.S. Bragging is allowed... in fact it's encouraged

Continuous? About 194 miles. Total for a four day weekend? 2,26X.

In my youth the OL & I could go on for hours, but now I need the blue pills for stamina...

Oh, you mean on a 2-wheel motorized vehicle...

Continuous one day was Pacifica, CA to Chandler, AZ 782 miles. Look to be doing something similar next week, to Roseburg, OR and returning the next day which will be about 2 hrs longer for the ride.

Most definitely, but anything over 4-hours is dangerous...

Now, to answer your initial question, I've gone tad over 1K continuous, but now that I'm no linger AD military the trips will hopefully get longer. Couldn't afford to venture off much when I was on call...

Continuous means to me is riding until you stop for the day.

With that it would be 10 hrs at 70-80 mph average.

Come close but I still have not completed a proper Iron Butt.

Depends I guess what you mean by continuous. A handful of riders including Will Barclay completed the 50 State Hoka Hey ride last year. And I've read accounts of guys with a tent circling the entire globe.

Too bad you didn't have time to stop and smell the roses.
