Outsmarting The Weather Mangods
Maybe, just maybe I can have at least a weekly ride through the Al Gore weather this winter (thank you, Tubby!). It's a challenge here!!
The weather forecasters tried to fake us out this week and last by snow and crud forecasts. But the hour by hour forecast info showed windows. Wednesday was almost 50F and a great afternoon ride ended just 30 minutes before all hell broke loose and it is now 16 below and 5 inches of snow/ice. Bylate next week another window maybe.
The cagers look at us like we're nuts... just give em a big ol possum in the moonlight grin.
Hope that others are getting your tickets punched too

Been lucky in Indiana, too, so far, although this weekend doesn't look so great.
Will get out tomorrow if it's pretty dry. I can handle the cold, I can handle the wet, I just don't like cold AND wet!
Asto the cagers, be aware that they are looking for us even less in this weather than they usually do. And they look at me like I'm crazy in the summer, too, at least when they're not too afraid to make eye contact, heh-heh.

Just another thing to worry about when we ride.[:@]

In the winter I trade my helmet for a fire red stocking cap that deer hunters wear. I figure I'm safer being seen than invisible with a helmet on.
