Default Bobster Goggles, face mask.

Thinking about buying a pair of bobster piston goggles with the amber lenses. Anyone have a pair and what do you think? Do they work good for night riding. I know the yellow lenses are great for night riding thought the amber would be okay for both night and day. I got no real close stores to buy stuff by trying it on, got to go 60 miles. The goggles look cool online but dont know how they fit. Also it is getting cool here in washington in the mornings so going to get a neoprene mask to take the chill off hopfully. I got a half helmet a friend told me if I want to ride in cold weather might want to get a full face helmet. He rides untill the snow flies and then when the roads are dry even though there is snow on the shoulders. That guy rides about 10 months out of the year. He went for a bike ride in jan. when it was about 10 degrees.

I ride all year round also, don't like that winterizing routine. IMO the full face is the only way to go if it is below 40 degrees.

I agree, full face all the way, it never gets that warm here in the UK anyway, but when it gets really cold I find the cold air makes my eyes water like crazy. Id rather not ride around looking like I'm crying!

forget the full face. if you got a mask, I wear a peanut helmet and wear a hoodie inder my jacket and pull the hood up under the helmet. works great

as for the glasses bobster also makes photochromatic (transition lenses) I have a pair although not bobster but they work great for day and night. one pair of glasses 24/7

I would imagine a full face is a lot warmer, but I ride year round and wear a mask, suits me just fine. Of course it only gets down to the mid 20's a couple weeks out of the winter.
