I wear them at work and when riding.I have had a pair of the Ultra Lites for about4 years now and the soles are starting to wear out now.
Here are the onesI have.

I also have these and wear them for riding only. Unbelievably light and good traction.

I picked up a pair of Bates intermediate 5060 DOD issue boots last season from th Army surplus last season. Gotta say they are a hell of a lot more comfortable than the GI issues I wore while I was in.
These ain’t nothing like any of the issued boots I wore while I was in the service especially the Cocorans.
Gore Tex lined with a Vibram sole. They keep my feet nice and toasty when it’s cold and nice and cool when it’s warm. Not to mention nice and dry when it’s wet. The soles seem to be holding up very well so far.
Made in the USA by Wolverine and the nice thing about the DOD issue boots is they always have extra wide in stock.[sm=smiley22.gif]

Yes sir. Here they are for a good price with free shipping http://workingperson.com/products/22...oots_2261.html
I won mine at a jail conference I attended a while back andI am in need of a new pair. The local police gear shop told me I could get them for $59.99.
