Can anyone reccomend some summer riding boots that are say about 6 to 8 inches high, light weight and mesh ventilated for riding down here in the deep south?
I've been wearing Ridge tactical boots for a few years now. Most comfortable boots I've ever worn. Wear them every day. Many police departments wear them.
They are light, breathable mesh with a soft comfortable sole. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have ankle and feet pain that these boots do wonders for!

I use my old Army boots--mesh sides, essentially a new (then) version of the issue jungle boot. Go hit the surplus store.
