Your right on with your price. I would list it there and see what happens. Put it on ebay people seem to pay just about anything on there. You would be surprised at how many people would buy used to save $2400.

Harley list's the 07 at 17095. Myself if I'm gonna spend 14 I'll 3g's more for no 10,000 miles and a 24mo. warranty
The problem with your figures is that you haven't added on the $700 for setup, $300 documentation charges, $325 Shipping and XX% Sales Tax, plus his Stage 1 cost. You will be spending a lot more then 3g's difference on a new one although $14,500 might be a little high. Here in Arizona you don't pay any sales tax on any vehicle bought from a private owner, only from a dealer.

I'd say since it's an '04 and '07's have now been out for half a year already, more like $12.5-13K as a starting point. But again as someone stated, it's worth what someone will pay for it.

Ten years ago when there were waiting lists and 120,00 a year being made, you could name your price. Now they make about 340,000 a year and showrooms are full. Used bikes values are at the mercy of supply and demand. Lower now because of all the new bikes available.

NADA shows high retail at 14,169 with a windshield and performance mufflers, so 14,500 is in the ballpark for a starting point. If a dealer was selling it, it would be that or higher.

Bill

Thanks everyone, I think I will list it at $14,500 with some flexability to come down. I do live in Cleveland now and we have 1 foot of snow on the ground. Were looking at 2 months before any real riding time. I think Ill put it on ebay and see what happens.
Thanks again for your help.

Ha ha! You paid set-up when you bought your bike! (Thats included in the MSRP). What exactly are "documentation charges"?
