How did you attach your guardian bell?

RE: How did you attach your guardian bell?
I have mine located on the bottom of my engine guard where it meets the frame. I first used to use leather, but noticed that it would come lose every now and again. Now I use black parachute cord. That stuff doesn't go anywhere.

For you who don't know, Guardian Bells are to be received as agift for them to be a true Guardian Angels for their recipient, as the story goes.
I have been given two so I have them hanging with zip-ties, one a bit lower then the other, mounted justabove the voltage regulator to lead my way to a safe ride...
In fact you can see them on the picture I embedded with this post...

RE: How did you attach your guardian bell?
Thanks for all of the replies.
I guess I need to find a place to get the leather from now. =)
My wife was going to get me one... And apparently she could not decide which one to get. So she went to the website and showed my daughter which ones she was looking at and my daughter picked this one:
I like it. =) It did not come with leather but it came with a keyring... I just didn't want to use anything that would scratch stuff up or rust too badly. Not like the Harley sits outside a lot... but just looking ahead.
I completely forgot about the brace on the frame with the whole in it. I may have to think about that. =)
Thanks again!
