I am trying to figure out what the best way to attach this thing is. I was thinking aircraft wire.

Also... any good suggestion on location? I know it is supposed to be at the bottom... but I also want to make sure that I don't do something that rubs off paint and causes rust.

 

zip ties

Under the floor boards on the brackets.

 

zip ties...attached to the frame below the voltage regulator.

 

No problems with it scraping on the paint too much?

Or are the frames powder coated?

 

i used zip ties on the frame, my buddy used a piece of shoe string leather.

 

I have mine hanging on leather shoestrings. Hang itas low as you can for the best results.

 

I used black rawhide and tied it to the left passenger peg mount.

 

Tied off with leather string to the hole in the crossmember between the front frame tubes

 

Tied of with a piece of leather strap to the right floor board mount....

 

Mine came with a leather tie. Tied it to the front portion of the frame.
