There is no way I would store any of my bikes outside during the winder in NY or anywhere else for that matter.

Find somewhere indoors, out of the elements.

Look for a garage, rent a storage locker, local HD dealer, anything but don't leave it outside.

I use to park my Kawi Turbo 750 in the living room of my condo because of the thievin bastards in the hood. Got pretty good manuevering it indoors and saved on electricity for the heater in the winter.

My fist Sporty hibernated in the dining room in the winter. Made the place stink of gas and oil but, I couldn't let her sleep outside, could I?

Almost all the dealers here in Illinois offer free winter storage if you spend $300 over the period it's stored. Check with your dealer. I had free storage negotiated into my purchase.

Cool winter storage

to one and all that responded to my question thanks a bunch. great help. i was offered a spot in a garage with a dirt floor. i will put a piece of plywood down for a makeshift floor, hang moth ***** from her to deter mice, then throw a cover on her. first ther are more miles to put on her until the snow flies here. thanks again
