Question MISC. parts # for winter project

Hey everyone,

Let me start by saying I ran a few searches on the forum and got some of the info I needed but couldn't find everything. Maybe I'm not searching for the right key words or I'm just not searching hard enough...?

I will be throwing on a set of Thunderheaders with the SE stage 1 A/C kit along with the Powervision. I am also getting black apes from Todd's along with new brake/clutch levers and grips. It will be my first time wrenching (other than changing the oil), but I'm pretty sure I can do this job with my manual and laptop in hand.

I was able to find the part #'s for the exhaust gasket and retaining rings (I need two of each correct..?) 65324-83A and 65325-83A respectively. I think Mud provided those numbers for another user.

What other parts will I be needing to do my upgrades? The parts I know of are the gaskets for the (#1) A/C backing plate and (#2)filter element, and (#3) retaining rings (2 of them) for the brake/clutch lever install. Do I absolutely have to get Locktite?

If some of you seasoned wrenchers can chime in with part numbers or other parts I might have overlooked, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Depends on if you're using SE exhaust gaskets or stock. Either way you won't need new rings for the exhaust as you can take the ones off your stock exhaust. The SE air cleaner kit will include all the needed gaskets. Does your apes require longer cables?

Yea they do require new cables. And the SE A/C was bought from a forum member and did not come with the gasket.
