Default Would you buy a Flat, Knuck, Pan, or Shovel.....

I know the current TC engines are basically modern designs of those engines but would you buy a Harley if they made a modern rendition of one of those engines purely from an aesthetic point of view? I personally like how the TC engines look in the chassis of a modern day Harley. Seems they did a good job of making the engine looks flow with the overall design of all of the bikes they are used in. I like the look of the Knuck and Shovel ( I guess I am talking more about how the rocker boxes are shaped) and would buy one if it were in one of the more classic looking bikes (RKC or Deluxe). Would be interesting to see chromed versions and versions with some parts of it blacked out. Just curious......

I would go for a panhead. Not to many of them around anymore.

Doesn't somebody (S&S?) make engines like you describe?

There's more than one manufacturer or shop that makes replicas of the previous H-D motors. Some make bolt on Kits that disguise the T/Cam.

Gotta say Harleys have slowly lost some of their good looks since the Shovels went, would be nice if they brought the look of one of the old ones back, even if it was a TC, I'd go for the Pan as well.
