Well couldnt wait any longer...went riding today. 28 degrees, some sun, and lots of wierd looks with a few thumps up from guys standing in their driveways. Only road 38 miles...but what a hell of a way to start off....God I didnt realise how much i missed riding. Still daylight out...hmm a few more. Even thr GF was smiling because i was smiling...she said I am like a happy little kid. I love her support, but she opt'd to stay home....wonder why?

The salt is killing me in Ohio, cold does not matter to me. I wish I could of joined you in the ride today.... 28 here too..... Suppose to rain monday and the rest of the week is cold but the salt may be gone.... If so I will be out.... I am tired of it, I normally ride 10 or 11 months a year but have not rode since Nov. this year....

Rode 475 miles Friday. Left home that morning and it was 38F and that afternoon in south central Kansas is was 75F.
Saturday was not a nice to us tho. 40F that morning and stiff north wind beat us all the way home, 275 miles. Ride for a hard hour or so then find a place to warmup for 20-30 minutes.
Sunburn, windburnt, and smiling the whole way!! Well most of the way...
Wifey was pissed she didn't get to go, but I know she would not have likes the ride Saturday and she has now admitted she was glad she didn't go because of the cold.

I went out riding with my daughter in Illinois today for about 75 miles or so. Gerbings is your friend. What a great ride. We got the looks from several folks as well.
