That is a HUGE freggin engine aint it?

When non bikers ask me how many CCs and I tell them they usually say something like I thought 750 was big.

Kinda forget sometimes how different a Harley is to most bikes.

I've always went by cubic inches, like "74". It's difficult for me to think of my bike being 103". Things change in 30 years.

103CI is almost 1690CC's.

1388 cc is equivalent to 84.7 ci. That isn't really very big by today's standards. Sure 30 years ago that would've been big for a V-twin. The stock 103 ci power-plants are the same as 1690 cc... 110 = 1800. You can see where this is going and it ins't hard to find a 131 ci engine (2146 cc).

Just my $.02...

And, your right... Most not bikers think 750 is big.
