Default year of the cecatas

So I just heard on the radio that this summer is the yaer for the cecatas. Since they are only here ecery 17 years and I am only 25 I wasn't riding when they were here last time. I do remeber that they are every were so I'm just wondering if we are constintly geting hit by them. I can only imagine how they feal and real not looking ford to haveing one hit my face.

I think you win the prize for most spelling errors in one post. Please advise if english is actually your second language so we can forward the trophy to the runner up....

Slooooowww doooooowwwn........no need to rush in this forum.

Your trophy will come in the mail. You only need to pay a 999.99 shipping and handling fee. That's a bargain at any price......

Now that the OP has taken his hits for misspelling cicada, I will say that I am not looking forward to riding through swarms of these huge bugs for a six week period! I guess the choices are (a) to wear a FF helmet in the beautiful spring weather or (b) learn what cicada tastes like.

I got hit by two in Tenn in 2011 while riding down to the Gulf coast. Not fun. Yellow guts right between the eyes.

They're about like getting hit in the face by a paintball. They'll leave a bruise. Kurt

Yeah they sure mess up a windshield. It's like getting smacked by a small bird.
