I recently rented from Eaglerider in Fla. I rented an Ultra, turned out it was an Ultra Classic. I should have asked more questions. Their rate was fine. I have rented from Los Vegas Harley and the only problem we had was with their shuttle that didn't exist the day we were there.

was in vegas about a month ago. rented from escape eagle. overall a good experience=victor the owner is a good guy. only complaint is the shop never checked air pressure in shocks and we had to return to do so. the scenery is beautiful beyond my ability to describe it. victor can give you advice for road trips. pm me with any questions and enjoy your trip!

I've done Dreamcar Rentals, LVHD and Eaglerider in Vegas. Dreamcar was across the street from the Harley Cafe. No longer there, it's the Aria complex now. POS Road King but it ran and a I didn't have to worry about dinging it. LVHD is down near the LV Hilton. Costly cab ride from the MGM. Had to return by 8pm Sat. Got there on time and nobody there. Somebody finally arrived to accept the returning rentals. Eaglerider is off W Trop Blvd, not far from the MGM. Had to be back by 7pm Sunday. No problems and a free shuttle. Had to sign over my first born with the latter two. ER had a sheet listing most repairs and costs.
Best bang for the buck was DC, don't know if they exist anymore. HD has good rates for HOG members.
AS for renting, the best I ever rented was from ER in Reno. It's franchised out to a small indy shop. The bikes were slightly used but they treated us really nice. Tented for 11 days and did 1000 more miles than allocated. No extra charge!
Enjoy your ride out there. Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, Hoover Dam and of course the granddaddy of them all, the Grand Canyon is all at your fingertips.
