Default Possible wrong tuner sent from fuel moto?

Disclaimer*** this is not a post bashing FM, it's Saturday and they're closed so I'm looking for some info here

I just got home from a 3 week long business trip, and opened my power package. I have a 2012 dyna, and my tuner that came was a FM-006. It says V-Rod. Is this the same model or am I sunk? I was supposed to move across the state today and now my bike is in pieces so I'm not sure if I should proceed or if I have to send it back... It's looking that way which throws a big wrench in my plans.

Don't install it unless FM confirms it's correct…..

…..wonder if there is a V-Rod owner with a similar issue?

The 2012 Dyna takes The FM-021. Is the same number on the tuner itself or just the box? They are good folks and will make it right!

Box, instructions, and unit all say fm-006. Man that just ruined my Saturday.

Hey, I understand your frustration. Those folks are really great though. I know it doesn't change your day but they will feel just as bad as you do! Sorry that happened.

Yeah I've heard they're pretty great, never heard a bad word about em. I'm sure they'll fix it up right.

I'd continue with your upgrades. I'll almost bet once Jamie knows, you'll have an overnight package on the way! See if you can leave them a message on the phone.

Order of operations question- got a basic stage one. Pipes, AC, tuner. If I put the pipes and AC on will they get in my way when I eventually bolt on the tuner? Or should I stop everything and keep the bike stripped down until I get a tuner?

Don't wanna have to pull stuff back off for access on the tuner install

when i had a pciii, i noticed that i had a different number on the tuner itself than what the order page called for. turned out that the same hardware is used in a few different situations and got a new number based on what the end use was for.

hook it up to your computer and see what map came preloaded. if the map specifies the correct model, then odds are you are good to go. either way, contact on monday to confirm
