Anybody ever screw up putting there seat back on and scratch the rear fender?
I see that the make a rear fender bib if you remove the back pillion, I wonder if they make anything to protect the area where the screw goes? Just venting I guess. I"m gonna have pull the fender and get it re-painted.
Thanks for listening.

When I got my bike I took the tour pack off to see if it looked good before buying a detach kit. Previous owner put in a couple 2-3" scratches slipping a screwdriver off that seat screw. Need the tour pack to cover it LOL

I used to freak at any scratch, Now I just say fkit, this aint no fashion show, I have a few dings and dents on my body, heck it is just a bike. It is nice to get old and adjust priorities.

It's a bike. If you don't ever get it dirty and scratch it you ain't doing it right. I always want to cry when I see a poor four or five year old unloved RK with 5K miles. All the extras that cost thousands and never really ridden much. It's a shame and a crime and it makes me sad. Right up to the point the guy hands me the fob.

get a touch up kit and some really good small paint brushes. some people use a tooth pick.
I did the same thing you did, when it was about a year old. The touch up kit worked fine. I later trashed my rear fender, I found a new on craigslist, in New Mexico $125.
