Default windshield ?

i 'm looking for advice on a windshield i have a 2012 dyna street bob and am in search for a descent looking and functional one that will keep my head from bobbing all over the place on the interstate doing 70-75 mph , over the years i pretty much just stayed on hi-way roads only doing about 60 .

I have a shield made by Long Ride Shields. Pic in my sig. Very happy with the performance, and look. I was really pleased with the support I received from them. This is not a quick release shield, but I'm not planning on taking it off ever.

[Edit] I have the medium smoke Thunderbolt model which is the largest of the three

I just did the Harley compact windshield in 14" and it is absolutely perfect for me. I am 5'8". You will still get some wind off the sides but I get none over the top. It really takes the pressure off your chest and arms. Still a minor amount of helmet shake over 75 but hey, its a motorcycle not a minivan.

e-mail Doug at windvest and send him your information with a couple pics of your handlebars...he'll tell you what model number you need. If you find a better price through one of his dealers he won't mind. I bought through one of his dealers for 120. cheeper and got the wrong clamps...He exchanged them for me free.

I have never seen him not be able to fit one of his sheilds on any bike.
E-mail pics and then call him

Not a fan of the wind vest look. The HD qd 19" compact works great on my fxd. I like taking it off to clean, I use pledge and it stops the overspray
