Just wondering, I got a quote from them, and it's cheaper. I don't know anyone local that has it, so I thought I'd ask you guys what you think of the company before I make a decision. Thanks!!

 

I don't know anything about Geico for motorcycles, but I knew a couple people that had them for cars and they didn't have anything good to say about them....but then again, i never have anything nice to say about any insurance company.

 

I have Geico here in Richmond,VA.
I have had not problems with them.
I had only one not at fault claim and they handled it completely.
I was in a car and got hit by a drunk driver about 2 years ago.
I have had them for about 10 years now.
The 04 FXDWG with about $3000 in accessory's runs right at $400\Yr.
Two cars run about $ 700\ yr.

I have had Geico on my bikes for many years. They have treated me well and have good rates. I have had two claims in last 30 years and both were handled great.

 

Well I'll definitely agree with you there, that's why I don't want to pay anymore than I have to!!

 

Good company. Only had them a year and had a 4000 buck claim and they paid with no hassle and no increase the next time I renewed.

 

I have Geico for my cars but not my bikes. I wasn't that impressed with their motorcycle insurance department. I went with Progressive for my bikes.

 

I've got Geico, with one speeding ticket it was $402.00 a year, the 3rd year after the ticket it dropped to $170.00!! Full coverage, $500.00 deductable, multi vehicle discount.

 

Here Geico has their own claims adjustor for motorcycle claims. He has pretty much managed to alienate all the dealers of all brands due to low balling the estimate. Some now refuse to work with Geico because of him.

I had a $6000 claim and they raised my rate on that bike from $550 to $900 for the year. And they didn't even give me a kiss or a reach around.

 

Do you mean Government Employees Insurance Company? The company that has an Australian lizzard as their spokesman? Well then no. In a questionaire they ask if I owned a radar detector? I answered that I do and then they refused my coverage. According to them if you own this type of device you are more likely than not to break the law. So no insurance from them.
