Default Where do I drill?

Where in the world do I drill to find the Air/Fuel Mixture screw? I cant find it anywhere.

It is a small plug on the bottom of the carb. Youneed to drill a small hole in the plug then insert a wood screw into the hole and use the screw to pull the plug. This has to be done very carefully to avoid damage.

Before you start doing carb work you need a service manual. In it you will find a detailed breakdown of the carb and the location of the plug that covers the idle mixture screw, as well as the location of the jets, needle, and how to make changes to them.

Well first you get a BFH, if you don't have a BFH you need a whole new set of tools. Go directly to Sears and by the biggest set of mechanics tools and the $4,000 toolbox set. Now that you have that BFH you can get down to business. That will open the carb right up.







Now after all that do exactly as bill suggested, get a service manual and research, then get out the drill.
