Default Cleaned damn spoke wheels...

Only took 5 hours.... I am pretty sure the previous owner never cleaned them.

Very nice results and worth every minute. Having the wheel off saved you.

Yes I tried for a few hours with the wheel on and just got pissed so I took them both off. Still have the front off I have to put a layer of rejex on it still.

I like spokes when they are clean. That's a fine job. Taking the wheels off seems like a whole lot of trouble to go thru just to clean the wheels but I bet it sure made it a lot easier. Here's my thread on cleaning my spokes this year. Folks have some good suggestions on it.

Thanks for the link! There was a lot of corrosion so it was a must to remove them. I used fine steel wool and windex to remove the rust, then followed with Eagle 1 polish, washed the wheel with dawn soap, then put a layer of rejex on.

Looks good! Thats why I get alloy/mag wheels, I don't want to have to mess with spokes.
