Absolutely!

When I found mine (private party) I was actually on the way to buy a "cheap" SPCN softail to have a "beater" 2nd bike i could take on the road (I travel for work) with me w/out much worry. But it was on the way and the dude was home so I stopped there first.

Saw it... rode it for about 5 minutes... made an offer... drove to the bank right away and got a cashiers check. Never even looked at the other bike... and don't regret it at all.

If the guy that sold me my bike lived 5 miles farther from the freeway... I prolly woulda never even seen it.

I sincerely hope when you win that lottery the dealer is still open, no way you will be able to wait for the next morning.

I'd be in 1914 buying one of these. This is my cousin's grandfather and grand uncle on their brand new 1914 HD's. Check out the invoice. $245. How's that sound

My first Sporty......maybe. Probably would have gotten a different color or looked at a used one instead of a brand new 1200 custom in a color I got tired of REAL fast.

Other bikes? No, no regrets on any of them. Almost got one that I think now I'd have regretted but I did change my mind at the last second, and glad I did.

But the new current bike? Not the most financially sound decision, but I got good enough deals on both trade in and interest rate and price....I have ZERO regrets.
This thing is amazing, even with yucky EPA-friendly stock pipes & tune. ANd that's readily fixed as soon as I save up for pipes & PC-V

If I had a time machine, I'd sure as hell wouldn't use it to buy a motorcycle. But for the sake of this thread, I'd buy the first 1903 Harley-Davidson out of the shed.
