Default Air filter

Ok guys need some opinions , have to replace air filter on my FLHTI been thinking about a K&N replacement filter for it instead of the stock filter , I have stock air intake ! Any sugestions ?

Go for it. Never have to buy another filter. Worth every penny.

I believe that if you are running stock exhaust you will be pleased. It allows a bit more cool air to the engine but if you have other than stock exhaust----you may need a bit of help with the "tuning" because it will undoubtedly run too lean.
K&N is a very good quality long lasting filter !

I have stock header pipes , but I have 2011 stock FLHX slip ons , so I have no cat in exhaust system !

No cat in the head pipe of a 2011 touring bike? Unless I'm reading that wrong, you might want to look again.

I ride a 06 FLHTI that exhaust has no cat in pipe ,it was in right slip on which was removed , and I installed a 2011 SG slip ons which the cat on that bike has no cat in muffler , which I believe in 2010 they started putting the cat in the header pipe , because the muffler does not have it . So now I have 06 header pipe and the 2011 mufflers which neither has a cat . Now you have me confused! LOL

You may want to check the A/F ratio just to be safe.
