Why I need to buy a vest or Harley t-shirt

Seriously, no animals were harmed in the making of this story. No blood was shed, no weapons brandished, no intentional slights or disrespect perceived.
Wasn't my preferred parts counter where they know my name, cringe when I enter and are at liberty to mock me as they see fit. I just thought the comment was funny and never realized that not wearing anything black or branded would cause me to be perceived differently. No, still didn't buy a shirt but I will take advice from Klarick. Next time I will make sure I place my oil funnel on my Fruit of the Loom JAX limited edition crew neck.

I had to stop at the dealership today to talk to someone I know and order a part. I was wearing my AC/DC t-shirt. Why? Cause that's how I roll.
Make of that whatever you will.

geezey rider,
Have you ever bought a part at a dealer? Many of them are long counters, not like when you are standing in line at Walmart to buy your Metamucil.
No employee neglected me intentionally, no customer cut in line.
BTW, you have 697 posts since April, about 220 a month. Lonely? Get a clue bro, do you ever wonder about "what I've learned.."? Because you didn't learn what is obvious to the rest of us.

Don't you people have relatives I have not bought any HD clothing in 20 years Except for a shirt I bought in Sturgis a few weeks ago? But I always get a shirt or cap every birthday and Christmas. I have been going to the same dealer for 20 years they do not even ask for my address anymore.

LOL. Suck's that Fletcher's is gone.. The folks over at Fletcher's seemed much nicer and the parts people were much more helpful. Sucks to only have one dealership handling all of Pinellas County now..
