07street glide fogged up fuel gauge

Default 07street glide fogged up fuel gauge

Hello this is my first post and I was looking for some help on what I need to do to stop my fuel gauge from getting all fogged up and condensation in there anyone else have this problem?

Thats normal but I put a silica packet in the hole in the back of the gauge. helped it not fog up except in the rain.

Welcome.. I think that you will find that almost everyone has that same problem.. It is a Harley thing.Kind of like the front brake master cylinder leaking fluid and screwing up the paint on it ..

Cool

I have a 06 EGS , we just went on a trip and the bike was out in the weather , though it didn't rain it was damp and mine did the same thing ! Took it for a ride and cleared out within 10 minutes . Guess I'm glad it's a normal thing , kind of like a stator oil leak too !
