Default Trike or not?

When the time comes or if you develop an disability that causes you to have to abandon two wheels, would you consider a Trike "to stay in the game" or would you miss the riding physics of a two wheels and call it a day because a Trike is not a bike.

No way I'd stop riding just because of getting old or a disability. Took me a long time to get back on a bike, I'm not getting off until they throw dirt in my face.

I might be there in a few years. I am interested to see if the rumored stripped down HD trike is available in 2015.

Hell yea. You gotta' do what you gotta do. No need to hang it up if you still have the desire to be out there. I'm only 64 so I know I still have quite a few more good years ahead of me, that is providing nothing happens.

Already had to for awhile, and it beat the hell out of sitting on the couch. I had some issues effecting my equilibrium and after falling over a few times decided a trike maybe a good idea. I had a Can-Am Spyder, and it was a fun ride, nothing like 2 wheels but fun none the less.I chose the Spyder because it seemed inherently more stable and I liked having the widest part of the bike in front of me. Anyway the equilibrium issues disappeared and once they were gone for about 6 months I had the confidence to go back to 2 wheels and traded the Spyder in for my Slim. Nothing like 2 wheels but there is life even after.

I'd have to be able to afford the trike but yeah, I'd rather do that than call it quits.

My personal belief is if and when the time comes through health of other issues I cannot handle or no longer pick my bike up, it's time to man up and park it . No whining, no denial games, just enjoy the fact I survived a good long, interesting life on or around the bike. Still do my thing with side work & building them without the saddle time, pounding a seat with my *** was never what the lifestyle was about, that's just a side effect of it not all there is, to me anyway..........

I would if I couldn't do 2 wheels anymore. I would like to see a striped down version though, along the lines of the RK, Clear windshield instead of the bat wing, no tour trunk, etc.
