Default Nord Locks. Anyone tried them?

I just ordered a small pack of 3/8" to try. They look intriguing. Has anyone else tried them out?

When was the last time you had a properly installed, torqued, and adhered installed bolt come loose? I'm thinking this widget might be most appropriate for "mission critical" bolts, along with the above AND safety wiring...

I ordered some from Amazon. I'm not looking for shortcuts but, if this works as well as the videos seem to indicate, they could be a good option for high-vibration applications. I noticed that they didn't show any loctite action on the charts.

Let me throw this out there..... I rebuild large diesel engines for semi trucks. lots of heat , vibration , and hours/miles. never had a head bolt or main bolt come loose and they don't have any kind of special anything to keep them tight.....

We are in the process at work of phasing in these Nord Lock washers. I personally like them. Everything we use that has threads has a torque value. I hear people that have been doing/ using the same thing for years still like using lock washers. LMAO

Hoists and winch manufacturing. Over the last year we have released a couple new models and they are all using these Nordlocks now. They are pretty secure, it takes a little more effort to actually get the fastener out.
